Naming Characters

If you get stuck trying to name your character, here are some tips:

-Names from other literature and alluding to those characters/their story/their traits
-Naming characters for sake of irony
-Random Name Generator
-Names sound nice
-How characters introduce themselves (Ex. Name is John Mark but introduces himself as Mark instead of John)
-Look popular names [I don't recommend this but it could be a good start for the process]
-Names for certain decades [Recommended for historical fiction]
-Names to foreshadow something about the character or what that character will do
